Cutting capacity and construction
The induction-hardened cutting edges have a hardness of approximately 64 HRC. The tool is made from forged chrome-vanadium high-performance steel with multi-stage oil hardening.

- Hard wire: up to Ø 4.0 mm.
- Piano wire: up to Ø 3.6 mm.
Handling and mechanism
Narrow multi-component handle sleeves without a collar make the tool easier to handle and transport. An integrated opening spring opens the handles, while the locking mechanism allows them to be secured. There is no collecting container or adjusting screw.
