The forged, hardened and tempered jaws are shaped for three-point contact with any material cross-section. The upper jaw is automatically welded to the high-strength sheet steel body, and the construction resists widening under heavy load.
The pliers feature nickel-plated 31CrV3 vanadium steel and blue dip-coated handles. A special spring keeps the release lever under constant pressure for safe release. A fitting with a tapped hole is welded underneath.
