The Venus Optics Laowa 6mm T2.1 Cine is an ultra-wide prime lens for cameras, camcorders and drones with a Micro 4/3 mount. Its 121.9° field of view suits landscapes, architecture and interiors, including confined spaces.
Wide perspectives and close-ups
Zero-D technology delivers near-zero distortion, particularly useful for architectural subjects. Manual focusing from 9 cm lets you capture small subjects within a wide perspective. The T2.1 maximum aperture supports low-light shooting and background blur, with a 7-blade diaphragm.
Controls for filmmaking
- Aperture: stepless adjustment across T2.1–T16 allows smooth changes during filming.
- Geared rings: both focus and iris rings have 0.8 MOD gears compatible with follow focus systems.
