The Venus Optics Laowa x1.33 - PL / PL anamorphic adapter is a compact device engineered to deliver a cinematic 2.35:1 aspect ratio on cameras equipped with 16:9 sensors. Its optical design generates delicate, pleasing flares and soft background defocus without extreme oval distortion at smaller apertures.
Mounting and Compatibility
The adapter attaches directly to the rear bayonet side via an Arri PL mount and locks securely using an integrated ring lever. Although created specifically for the Venus Optics Laowa OOOM 25-100mm T2.9 Cine zoom, it is also compatible with selected PL cine lenses from Angenieux, Arri, and Carl Zeiss.
