The Leica DISTO D2 laser distance meter measures from 0.05 to 150 m for indoor measuring tasks and recording room dimensions. Combined distance and tilt measurements help determine horizontal distances. Measurements over obstacles are also possible.

Room plans and data transfer

Smart Room supports the creation of scaled room plans. An integrated IMU records the device’s orientation and movement during measurement. Distances and angles can be measured clockwise or anticlockwise, with the results displayed as a room plan in the DISTO Plan app.

NFC: transfer measurements without prior pairing by holding the meter against a compatible smartphone.
Bluetooth: an additional option for transferring results to mobile devices.
Memory: stores 30 measurement values.

Measuring at edges and in corners

The multifunctional fold-out end piece supports measurements at edges, in corners and in grooves. Automatic end piece detection accounts for the required measurement offset. The meter has a display, automatic switch-off and an IP54 protection rating. It runs on 2 AAA batteries, which are included.
