Available products

Gifts for dogs and cats range from play accessories to practical items for grooming and travel. The range includes cardboard scratchers, sisal scratching posts, cat toys with a mouse, grooming gloves, self-cleaning brushes, carrier bags, car seats and dog stairs. Featured brands include Purlov, Petoneer and Rojeco. Start with the activity the gift is intended to support.

How to choose gifts for dogs and cats

Consider the pet’s size, daily habits and intended use. A cat’s preferred scratching position can help determine whether a horizontal cardboard scratcher or an upright sisal post is more suitable. For carriers, compare the stated dimensions and weight limit with the pet’s measurements. Grooming accessories should be chosen with attention to their described function and the animal’s response to brushing.

  • Cat scratchers: cardboard options include wave-shaped designs and scratcher loungers. Upright sisal posts provide a vertical scratching surface, so consider the cat’s habits and the available floor space.
  • Cat toys: a toy with a mouse and scratching pad combines play and scratching in one accessory. Consider whether mouse-based play usually interests the cat.
  • Grooming accessories: grooming gloves and self-cleaning brushes offer different formats for coat care. Compare the stated brushing or massage functions and how each accessory is handled.
  • Carriers and car seats: Purlov options include carrier bags and combined car seats and carriers. Dimensions, permitted pet weight and intended use are important selection criteria.
  • Dog stairs: steps provide a route to a higher surface. Compare the product dimensions with the intended position and the space available beside the furniture.

For home use, gifts can centre on scratching, play or regular grooming. For outings, focus on the carrier’s size and intended purpose. Matching a gift to an established habit makes the choice more relevant to the individual dog or cat.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I choose a practical gift for a dog or cat?

Choose a gift for a dog or cat around an everyday activity: scratching, play, grooming or travel. Match the accessory’s size and stated purpose to the individual pet.

What is the difference between a horizontal scratcher and a scratching post?

A horizontal cardboard scratcher provides a low scratching surface, while an upright sisal scratching post provides a vertical surface. Choose the scratcher format according to the cat’s usual scratching position and the space available.

What should I check before choosing a pet carrier?

Check the pet carrier’s stated dimensions, weight limit and intended use against your pet’s size. A carrier bag and a combined car seat and carrier have different intended uses, so read the individual product description.
