This Newell kit pairs the DC-LCD dual-channel charger with 2 SupraCell Protect LP-E6NH batteries for Canon. Each battery provides 2 400 mAh capacity and 17.3 Wh energy, while independent charging slots allow both batteries to charge at once.
Charging modes and monitoring
The LCD shows each battery’s charge percentage and the current mode. Charging current depends on the selected mode and whether one or both slots are occupied.
- Normal mode L: up to 1 000 mA with one slot in use, or 500 mA per slot with both in use.
- High-speed mode H: up to 1 500 mA with one slot in use, or 800 mA per slot with both in use.
- Power inputs: AC 100–240 V or DC 12–24 V, with cables included.
- USB-A output: 2 100 mA for charging mobile devices.
Batteries and protection
The batteries have a stated operating temperature range of –20 °C to 90 °C. They feature fire-resistant housings, NTC resistors and integrated protection against overheating, overcharging and short circuits, with no memory effect. The charger includes overheating, overload and overcharge protection.
