Prepare the sponge mixture directly in the tin, then remove the baked base and turn it upside down before decorating. The steel construction distributes heat evenly to support uniform baking.
Use in the oven at temperatures up to 220 °C. The tin is not suitable for microwaves, and metal utensils must not be used inside it. Hand wash with a non-abrasive sponge; it is not dishwasher-safe.
