Choose countryThe SUNSUN HW404B is an external filter for freshwater and saltwater aquariums up to 600 L. It combines a 2 000 L/h flow rate and 4-stage filtration in a 19 L housing with an integrated 9 W UV-C lamp.
Filtration and water treatment
The filtration system removes contaminants, while the UV-C lamp irradiates the flowing water to help limit the growth of algae, bacteria and other microorganisms.
- Initial startup: a manual pump helps prime and start the filter.
- Hose disconnection: the multifunctional valve with a quick-connect fitting allows hoses to be disconnected without draining the system.
- Positioning: 360° swivel hose connections make installation under or beside the aquarium easier.
- Vibration damping: rubber feet reduce vibration during operation.
Installation parameters
The maximum water lift is 2.5 m. Supplied hoses are 1.8 m long with a 20/25 mm diameter. The filter has an ABS and PVC housing, a ceramic impeller shaft and an IPX4 protection rating. Its operating temperature range is 4–35 °C, and it uses a 220–240 V / 50 Hz power supply.
