Choose countryThe SUNSUN HW-704B is an external filter for freshwater and saltwater aquariums up to 600 L. It combines 4-stage filtration, a maximum flow rate of 2 000 L/h and an integrated 9 W UV-C lamp to help maintain clear water.
Configurable filtration and UV-C treatment
The filter baskets accommodate mechanical, biological and chemical filter media, allowing you to configure filtration for your aquarium. An accessible pre-filter catches coarser debris to reduce clogging in the deeper media layers. Filter media are not included.
The UV-C lamp helps reduce the growth of algae, bacteria and other microorganisms suspended in the water. Its specified service life is approximately 7 000–10 000 hours. The manufacturer recommends periodic lamp replacement and cleaning of the quartz sleeve.
Installation and maintenance
- Positioning: place the filter beside or beneath the aquarium, with 360° swivel hose connections to suit the available space.
- Startup: a manual priming pump helps with initial startup and venting air from the system.
- Servicing: a multifunctional valve with a quick-connect fitting allows hose disconnection without draining the entire filter.
- Construction: rubber feet help dampen vibration, while a ceramic impeller shaft supports stable operation.
