Choose countryThe SUNSUN HW-703B is an external filter for freshwater and saltwater aquariums up to 600 L. It combines a flow rate of 1 400 L/h, four-stage filtration and a built-in 9 W UVC lamp to help reduce algae, bacteria and other microorganisms in the water.
Filtration and UVC treatment
The filter baskets accommodate different media for mechanical, biological and chemical filtration, including activated carbon. Filter media are not included. Water passes through a dedicated UVC reactor, and the lamp has a service life of 7 000–10 000 hours.
Setup and maintenance
- Flow control: a multifunctional valve adjusts the flow, while its quick-connect fitting allows hose disconnection without draining the filter.
- Priming: a manual pump helps with initial filling and removing air from the system.
- Positioning: 360° swivel hose connections make placement under or beside the aquarium easier. Maximum water lift is 2 m.
- Maintenance: baskets with handles simplify media removal, while rubber feet dampen vibration.
The filter has a ceramic impeller shaft and an ABS and PVC housing. It operates from a 220–240 V mains supply. The set includes the built-in UVC lamp, connection hoses and inlet/outlet tubes with a spray nozzle and accessories.
