Choose countryThe SUNSUN HW-702B is an external filter for freshwater and saltwater aquariums up to 200 L. It combines a flow rate of 1 000 L/h with three-stage filtration and an integrated 9 W UV-C lamp.
Filtration and UV-C treatment
Mechanical filtration traps debris and suspended particles, biological filtration provides a surface for beneficial bacteria, and chemical filtration allows additional media such as activated carbon. Filter media are not included.
The UV-C lamp treats flowing water to help reduce algae, bacteria and other unwanted microorganisms. Its service life is 7 000–10 000 hours; periodic lamp replacement and quartz sleeve cleaning are recommended to maintain effectiveness.
Connection and maintenance
- Priming: a built-in manual pump assists initial startup and air removal.
- Flow control: the multifunctional quick-connect valve regulates flow, allows hose disconnection without draining the system and helps prevent leaks.
- Flexible connections: 360° swivel connectors and 1.8 m PVC hoses help adapt the installation to the available space.
- Maintenance: baskets with handles simplify media replacement, while rubber feet dampen vibration.
The package includes the filter with its built-in UV-C lamp, connection hoses and a set of inlet and outlet fittings. A 220–240 V, 50 Hz power supply is required.
