Choose countryThe SUNSUN HW-402B is an external filter for water filtration and circulation in freshwater and saltwater aquariums. It delivers a flow rate of 1 000 L/h and includes a 9 W UV lamp to help reduce the growth of algae and microorganisms that impair water quality.
Controls and water flow
- Starting: a priming button on the filter head makes the filter easier to start.
- Connections: separate inlet and outlet connections and a shut-off valve simplify operation.
- UV control: the lamp has a switch and an operating indicator light.
- Flow distribution: a spray bar promotes even water flow.
Filtration and maintenance
The 8 L filter supports different filter media, allowing filtration to be tailored to the aquarium's requirements. The filter baskets, impeller and UV system components are accessible for cleaning. Its external design leaves space free inside the tank.
