Choose countryThe SUNSUN HBL-801 is a hang-on cascade filter for freshwater and saltwater aquariums up to 60 L. Its externally mounted housing saves space inside the tank, while the 500 l/h flow can be adjusted continuously.
Filtration and water flow
Filter media are included, with an activated carbon cartridge and filter fleece to help capture larger debris and fine suspended particles. The design also accommodates additional biological media, such as ceramic rings or zeolite, so you can adapt the filtration setup.
- Water inlet: can operate with or without the surface skimmer function.
- Water outlet: can be fitted with a directional nozzle or spray bar to control flow distribution.
- Flow control: continuous adjustment lets you tailor operation to the aquarium and its inhabitants.
Installation and power
Hang the filter on the aquarium’s side or rear glass. The ABS and PP housing measures 135 × 270 × 280 mm. It requires a 220–240 V, 50 Hz mains supply, consumes 6 W and has a 1.5 m power cable.
