The Ruhhy Dryzix 500 is a condensation dehumidifier that removes up to 12 l of moisture per day, intended for rooms of around 15 m². It can reduce humidity in homes, offices, basements and laundry rooms.

Humidity control and WiFi operation

In AUTO mode, the built-in humidistat maintains the selected humidity: the appliance switches off when the setting is reached and restarts when humidity rises above it. The humidity setting can be adjusted up to 80%. Continuous mode also supports laundry drying and drying out rooms after flooding.

  • Remote control: use the Smart Life app to switch the appliance on or off, adjust humidity, change modes and use the timer. Google Home and Alexa integration is supported.
  • Timer: schedule switching on and off within a 0–24 h range.
  • Controls: a display, LED lighting and a button lock to prevent accidental setting changes.
  • Everyday use: automatic defrosting, a washable mesh filter for larger dust particles, integrated handles and transport wheels. The noise level is 38 dB(A).

Water collection and drainage

Condensate collects in a 2 l tank, or you can connect the included drainage tube for continuous drainage. Secure the tube below the outlet, without bends or blockages. Keep the tank magnets and plastic rivets in place: removing them prevents the full-tank automatic stop from working and may cause water to overflow.

Installation and safety

Install, operate and store the appliance in a room with a floor area greater than 4 m². Provide ventilation, keep ventilation openings clear and protect pipework from physical damage. Do not install pipework in an unventilated space smaller than 4 m². Follow national wiring and gas regulations.

Use an earthed socket and a supply matching the rating plate; do not use an extension lead or adapter. Do not leave the appliance running unattended, tilt it or turn it over. Switch it off before unplugging, and never pull the cord. Unplug for maintenance, cleaning and when not in use. A damaged power cord must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or a similarly qualified person.

Do not operate with wet hands, spill water on the appliance, immerse it or expose it to rain or other liquids. Do not use it if dropped, damaged or malfunctioning. Do not place objects on it, climb or sit on it, insert fingers or objects into the air outlet, or touch the air inlet or aluminium fins.

Keep away from fire and flammable or explosive objects. Store in a well-ventilated room without continuously operating ignition sources such as an open flame, operating gas appliance or electric heater. Protect against mechanical damage; do not break into pieces or burn. Refrigerants may have no odour. Use only manufacturer-recommended means for defrosting or cleaning; do not clean with chemicals. Rinse the tank with clean water, without detergents, abrasives or solvents. Empty the condensate before resetting the operating mode, and refit the empty tank to resume operation.
