The Orico PDM2 adds 2 M.2 drive connectors to a desktop computer through a free PCI-E slot. It supports NVMe and SATA SSDs, letting you expand storage without replacing existing drives.

Drive compatibility and capacity

The adapter has 2 independent M.2 connectors and accepts 2230, 2242, 2260 and 2280 drive formats. It supports B-Key, M-Key and B+M Key types, with a maximum capacity of 2 TB per drive and 4 TB in total.

Data transfer: the PCI-E 3.0 Gen3 x4 interface offers theoretical speeds of up to 32 Gbps for NVMe and up to 6 Gbps for SATA.
Operating systems: compatible with Windows, macOS and Linux.
Installation: screw mounting with multiple fixing positions to accommodate different drive lengths.

Heat dissipation

Ventilation openings and copper traces help dissipate heat. The black card has a stainless steel mounting bracket.
