Connection and data transfer
The adapter supports SATA III bandwidth up to 6 Gbps and the UASP protocol. With UASP, data transfer can be up to 70% faster than traditional USB 3.0. The USB-C connection also works with Thunderbolt 3/4 ports.
No drive enclosure required
Connect the adapter to the drive and then to the computer. Plug & Play operation requires no driver installation, separate drive enclosure or tools. An LED indicates operating status and data transfer activity. The compact, lightweight design is easy to carry for backups and file transfers.
