Choose countryThe GEDORE red 172-piece socket set brings together 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" drives for fastening tasks in maintenance, craft work and the workshop. It includes short and deep metric hexagon sockets alongside screwdriver bits in a range of profiles.
Drive control and access
The 72-tooth reversible ratchets have a direction selector lever, push-button socket release, oval head and two-component handle. Extensions and universal joints help adapt access to the fastener.
- Sockets: short and deep metric hexagon sockets, plus internal TX sockets.
- Spark plugs: 3/8" and 1/2" spark plug sockets with pressed-in rubber retainers.
- Screwdriving: hexagon, slotted, PH, PZ, TX and other listed profiles, plus an angled hex key set.
- Accessories: a sliding T-handle, adapters and a 1/4" spinner handle.
Materials and storage
The chrome-vanadium steel tools have a satin matt chrome-plated finish. A plastic case in GEDORE red design holds the tools in place with clips.

Does the set include spark plug sockets?
Yes. It includes 3/8" and 1/2" spark plug sockets with pressed-in rubber retainers. The 3/8" socket also has an external drive hexagon SW 21, and one 1/2" version has an external drive hexagon SW 24.
How is the ratchet direction changed?
A lever selects right or left rotation. A push button releases the socket.
