Choose countryThe Carlinkit 2AIR-T converts factory-installed wired CarPlay or Android Auto into a wireless connection, so you do not need to plug in your phone for each journey. After initial setup, it connects to your phone automatically.
Compatibility and everyday use
Your car must already have original wired CarPlay or Android Auto. The adapter supports iPhone 6 or newer with iOS 10+, and phones running Android 11 or newer. You can use navigation, music, calls and messaging apps supported by the relevant system.
- Original controls: retains factory buttons, rotary controls, steering wheel controls and the car’s original microphone.
- Wireless connectivity: Bluetooth 5.2 and Wi-Fi on the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands.
- Display and updates: preserves the car system’s original resolution and supports online OTA software updates without a computer.

Will this adapter work in a car without CarPlay or Android Auto?
The car must already have factory-installed wired CarPlay or Android Auto. The adapter converts that existing wired connection to wireless; it does not add these systems to a car that lacks them.
Can I still use the car’s original controls and microphone?
Yes. Factory buttons, rotary controls, steering wheel controls and the original microphone remain supported, including for calls and voice commands.
