This geocell stabilizes soil surfaces in backyard parking areas and pathways while preventing erosion on slopes and pond banks. It is designed for reinforcing bridge cones, road embankments, quarry and waste dump slopes, natural or artificial reservoir shores, and for retaining filled soil on slopes above roof constructions.
Structure and Material
The product is a three-dimensional volumetric honeycomb structure made from perforated high-density polyethylene (HDPE) strips. These strips are joined together using ultrasonic welding, providing weather resistance and holding ground firmly against sliding caused by rain, snow, groundwater, or human activity.
Filling Options
Cells can be filled with soil and planted to establish a natural vegetative cover, or filled with aggregate over geotextile to stop weed growth. Crushed stone provides better interlocking than smooth gravel or river pebbles, supporting durable ground reinforcement.
