Choose countryThe BIGSTREN 145-piece network tool kit supports Ethernet and telephone cable testing, network installation and repair. Its RJ45/RJ11 tester uses LED indicators to show connection status and faults.
Cable preparation and connection
- Crimping: the 4/6/8 P crimping tool has a metal mechanism.
- Wire preparation: a wire stripper and punch-down tool are included.
- Accessories: the kit includes 20 RJ45 plugs, 20 protective plug boots, 100 cable ties and a plug coupler.
- Storage: a zipped case with a hanging loop keeps the tools together.
Power and operating conditions
The tester requires 1 × 9 V battery, not included. Its operating temperature is -20 to 80 °C. Before testing, ensure the cable has no mechanical damage at the test location. The RJ45 plug must be fully inserted before testing; an incompletely inserted plug can cause permanent damage to the port.
