Choose countryThe Maclean MCE825 is a concealed touch switch and dimmer for low-voltage LED lighting. Once installed, the sensor stays out of sight and responds to a touch on the surface above its mounting position.
Concealed installation
Mount the sensor beneath a worktop, behind a furniture front, door, mirror, glass or another suitable surface. Wood or glass at the mounting position can be up to 40 mm thick. This allows lighting control in cabinets, wardrobes, kitchen furniture, display cabinets and shelving without a visible switch.
Controls and compatibility
- Switching: a short touch turns the light on or off.
- Dimming: hold for more than 2 seconds to adjust brightness smoothly within the 10–100% range.
- Lighting types: compatible LED strips, LED modules and furniture lights.
- Electrical requirements: 12–24 V DC, with a maximum LED load of 48 W at 12 V DC or 96 W at 24 V DC.

Will the switch be visible after installation?
The sensor stays concealed behind a suitable surface. Touch the surface at the sensor position to operate it. Wood or glass must be no thicker than 40 mm.
Which lights can it control?
Compatible LED strips, modules and lights operating on 12–24 V DC. The maximum load is 48 W at 12 V DC or 96 W at 24 V DC.
