The Newell Power Office WiFi PD 30W smart power strip combines 3 earthed mains sockets with 4 USB ports. It provides remote power control for connected appliances and direct USB charging for compatible devices.
App-based power control
Using 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and an internet connection, Smart Life / Tuya lets you switch sockets and USB ports on or off, set schedules, programme automatic shutdowns and check device status. The free app is available for Android and iOS.

Cable and protection
The 2 m power cable has a braided sleeve. Fire-resistant materials are paired with 10 levels of protection, including overheating, overvoltage and overload protection. Socket shutters help prevent children from accidentally touching the electrical contacts.
