Choose countryThe Makita DHR243Z is an LXT 18 V cordless rotary hammer for drilling, hammer drilling and chiselling. Its brushless motor and SDS-plus mounting system support these tasks with quick changes of working tools.
Modes and controls
Single impact energy is 2.0 J, with a maximum drilling capacity of 24 mm in concrete, 27 mm in wood and 13 mm in steel. Rotation stop enables chiselling, while hammer stop allows drilling without hammer action.
- Variable speed: a no-load speed range of 0–950 rpm.
- Rotation control: forward and reverse rotation plus a motor brake.
- Slip clutch: limits torque transmission.
- Dust extraction: an external extraction system can be connected.
Power and supplied version
The battery protection system automatically switches the tool off when the battery is almost empty. This bulk version comes in neutral outer packaging without a battery or charger. BL1890 and BL18120 batteries are incompatible and cannot be used with this tool.
