Choose countryThe Makita DHR171ZJ is a compact 18 V LXT cordless rotary hammer for drilling and hammer drilling in concrete, wood and steel. This version includes a MAKPAC case, while the battery and charger are supplied separately.
Drilling and control
Its 1.2 J impact energy supports hammer drilling in concrete up to 17 mm, with an optimum concrete drilling range of 3.2–10 mm. The SDS-plus fitting allows quick bit changes. There are 2 operating modes: drilling and hammer drilling, with no rotation-stop function.
- Speed control: electronic adjustment from 0 to 680 rpm and constant speed control under load.
- Handling: forward/reverse rotation, an electric brake and an LED work light.
- Working comfort: a vibration-absorbing handle and a dust extraction connection.
- Protection: overload protection, deep discharge protection and temperature monitoring.
Construction and contents
The brushless motor reduces maintenance requirements. The tool measures 273 mm in length and weighs 1.5 kg without a battery. The package contains the rotary hammer, side handle, depth gauge and MAKPAC case.
