Drilling capacities and modes
Variable speed, forward and reverse rotation, rotation stop and hammer stop let you select the operation for drilling or chiselling. The hammer drilling range in concrete is 4–28 mm, with an optimum range of 8–16 mm. Hollow core bits allow 68 mm holes in concrete; the maximum core drilling diameter in masonry is also 68 mm. Maximum drilling diameters are 13 mm in metal and 30 mm in wood.
