Choose countryThe De Buyer CHOC RESTO INDUCTION is a shallow 30 cm crêpe pan with a low rim and a non-stick surface that makes crêpes easier to flip. Its 4 mm aluminium body distributes heat evenly and retains its shape.
Construction and hob compatibility
- Coating: a 5-layer non-stick surface helps food glide across the pan.
- Base: magnetic AISI 430 stainless steel makes it suitable for induction, as well as gas, electric and ceramic hobs.
- Handle: the riveted, powder-coated steel strip handle is heat-resistant. Its French-style curve provides a comfortable grip.
- Oven use: suitable for brief oven use at up to 200 °C.
Cooking and care
Beyond crêpes, the pan is suitable for gently cooking fish, vegetables, pulses and cereals, braising over a low heat, reheating meals and thickening sauces. It is not an all-purpose pan: a steel pan is preferable for searing, browning or roasting.
Do not heat the pan empty or allow it to overheat. Avoid thermal shocks and do not use metal utensils. Hand wash only without scouring pads; it is not dishwasher-safe.
