The 4FIZJO MED is a removable pneumatic walking boot for stabilising the foot and ankle after injuries and certain orthopaedic procedures. This grey size S version fits shoe sizes 35–38, with an air chamber and adjustable straps to customise the fit.

Construction and adjustment

  • Support frame: the PVC structure supports the foot and ankle.
  • Soft interior: the lining provides soft contact with the skin.
  • Heat and moisture dissipation: the construction helps release heat and moisture during wear.
  • Adjustable fit: hook-and-loop straps secure the boot, while pressure in the built-in air chamber can be adjusted.

Intended uses

The boot is intended for stabilisation following ankle sprains and dislocations, foot and ankle fractures and cracks, and Achilles tendon strains, partial tears and ruptures. It is also used after orthopaedic procedures where stabilisation and gradual mobilisation are needed. In some cases, it can serve as an alternative to a plaster cast.

Contraindications

Do not use with joint deformities, ulcers or skin lesions in the area where the device is applied. People with diabetes should use the orthosis only after consulting a doctor and obtaining approval. Use is not recommended with allergies to the product's materials or following complex surgical procedures.
