Choose countryThe blue Berdsen Icemax is a 26 l electric cool box for food and drinks on trips. It cools to as much as 18 °C below ambient temperature and also offers heating up to 65 °C.
Temperature control and ECO mode
Set the temperature using the increase and decrease buttons on the electronic display panel. It also has ON/OFF and ECO buttons and indicator lights. Once the set temperature is reached, ECO mode reduces power consumption; the unit automatically returns to Normal mode when the temperature rises. A built-in fan circulates air inside the compartment, while the double-wall body and insulated lid help retain the temperature.
Power and practical handling
- Two power options: connect to 220–240 V mains or a 12 V car cigarette lighter socket. Both power cables are included; the 12 V cable is 2 m long.
- USB port: for charging a phone.
- Compartment divider: a PVC grid helps separate food items.
- Folding handle: locks the lid when upright in the carrying position. It can also support the open lid while loading or unloading.
The cool box switches on automatically when the car engine starts; after restarting the engine, you may need to press ON/OFF. Cooling performance depends on ambient temperature: the stated 18 °C is a temperature difference, not a fixed internal temperature.

Does it maintain a fixed temperature regardless of the weather?
You can set the temperature, but cooling is limited to up to 18 °C below ambient temperature. The achievable internal temperature therefore depends on the surrounding conditions.
