Choose countryThe GEDORE red SB-183-7-TC-S-001 combines pliers and a spanner in a 190 mm tool. Its adjustable parallel jaws cover metric and imperial sizes from 0–52 mm or 0–2", including gentle assembly of surface-sensitive connections such as chrome-plated fittings.
Adjustment and fastening
A sliding mechanism provides practically infinitely variable jaw adjustment and locks the selected width across flats. The mechanism can be activated from practically any adjustment position. Backlash-free contact helps preserve fastener edges. The tool can also work as a ratcheting open-ended spanner for quick tightening and loosening of hexagonal bolts and nuts.
Holding and shaping
- Multiple tasks: bend, hold, press and grip different workpieces.
- Force transmission: a ratio of >1:10 provides high pressing and clamping force at the jaws; the tool can also serve as a portable vice.
- Hand position: adjustment allows the grip position to suit the jaw opening.
Made from special tempered steel, the tool has plastic handles. Optional protective jaw covers are available separately.
