Laying and fitting
Remove weeds and stones and level the soil before laying. Cut the fleece to fit with a knife or scissors, then secure it with garden pins or cover the edges with soil. Make X-shaped cuts for planting. An optional layer of mulch can be added on top.
The fleece can also provide short-term cover against cold, wind and light frost. Because it is black, this use is intended as a temporary or supplementary measure; its primary purpose is soil mulching.
