Choose countryThe Makita DPJ180ZJ cordless biscuit joiner cuts grooves in boards and other wooden structures for standard wooden biscuits. This version includes a 100 mm groove cutter and Makpac case, with the battery and charger supplied separately.
Depth and angle adjustment
The maximum milling depth is 20 mm. There are 6 settings and a screw for fine depth adjustment. A rack-and-pinion mechanism adjusts the angle fence depth, while a single clamping lever locks the fence. The swivel fence adjusts continuously from 0° to 90°, with detents at 0°, 45° and 90°.
Applications and equipment
- Applications: joinery and carpentry, including sawing shadow joints on walls and ceilings.
- Dust collection: a dust bag is included, and a dust extractor can be connected.
- Cutter changes: the spindle lock holds the spindle in place.
- Power: uses the Makita LXT 18V battery system.
