Four Filtration Layers
Each filter cartridge combines four complementary materials to deliver multi-stage water purification:
- Nonwoven fabric and sponge: trap fur and larger particles before they enter water circulation.
- Ion-exchange resin: helps soften water and reduce heavy metal content.
- Activated carbon: absorbs unpleasant odors and impurities, helping improve the taste of the water.
Preparation and Replacement
Before first use, soak the filter in water for about 5 minutes, then rinse it thoroughly under running water for roughly 30 seconds. To maintain consistent filtration performance, the manufacturer recommends replacing the cartridge every 2–4 weeks depending on water quality and fountain usage.
