Fit and safe use
Check more than your pet's weight: the carrier must provide enough room to move freely, turn around and lie in a natural position. Use a suitable soft lining or pad that is easy to clean.
Place the carrier on a flat, stable surface away from stairs, sharp objects and places where it could tip over. Keep it out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources. Regularly check for loose components, sharp edges or damaged parts that could injure your pet.
