Choose countryThe Promedix PR-816 is a cat-shaped compressor nebuliser for respiratory inhalation therapy. It is intended for saline or doctor-recommended medicines in a form suitable for nebulisation. The included masks accommodate both children and adults.
Nebulisation and operation
The piston compressor is designed for continuous operation. The medication cup holds 10 ml, with a particle size of 0.5–10 μm and a mass median aerodynamic diameter (MMAD) of 3 μm. The average nebulisation rate is ≥0.3 ml/min with a 2% saline solution. The unit uses a 230 V, 50/60 Hz mains supply.
The child-oriented cat design has rounded contours without sharp edges and a thermally insulated housing.
