Handpiece and bit changes
The SH37LN handpiece reaches up to 40 000 rpm. Its balanced design and reduced vibration support comfortable handling, while the plastic housing reduces perceived heat. The Twist-Lock mechanism enables quick bit changes without additional tools.
Controls and workstation setup
- Rotation controls: the base dial provides stepless speed adjustment, while a front button changes the direction of rotation.
- Foot pedal: switches the drill on and off while retaining the preset speed.
- Overload indication: an LED signals an overload so the operator can respond.
- Handpiece storage: a silicone rest and a plastic side-mounted holder with an adjustable angle.
A cover over the power switch limits dust entering the controller. Non-slip feet and the weight of the base help keep the unit stable on the worktop. The unit uses corded power.

Does the foot pedal adjust the speed?
The pedal switches the drill on and off at the speed previously set on the base. Speed is adjusted continuously using the base dial.
Are tools needed to change bits?
No. The SH37LN handpiece has a Twist-Lock mechanism for releasing, changing and securing bits without additional tools.
