Handpiece and bit changes
The contoured SH37LN handpiece combines a balanced design with reduced vibration for comfort during extended work. Its plastic housing reduces the sensation of heat. The Twist-Lock mechanism allows quick bit changes without additional tools.
Controls and protection
- Speed adjustment: the dial on the base provides stepless adjustment from 0 to 40 000 rpm.
- Rotation direction: a front button changes direction with an automatic brief pause to protect the motor from abrupt reversal.
- Control mode: the FOOT/HAND button switches between hand control and the included foot control.
- Overload protection: the device stops automatically under excessive load. Once the cause has been removed, operation can be restarted using RESET.
Workstation layout and contents
The base can also be positioned on its side, while non-slip feet help limit movement on the worktop. A silicone rest holds the handpiece between tasks. The additional plastic handpiece holder can be attached at two positions on the base.
