Choose countryThe Makita DTM52ZJX2 is an 18 V LXT cordless oscillating multitool for sawing and sanding. This version includes a Makpac case and accessory set, with the battery and charger supplied separately.
Adjustable operation and accessory changes
A setting wheel provides stepless adjustment from 10 000 to 20 000 oscillations per minute. Constant electronics maintain the operating speed, while soft start provides gradual start-up. Accessories can be set in 12 angular positions and changed without tools.
- Accessory compatibility: accepts Starlock, Starlock Plus and Starlock Max; not suitable for OIS accessories.
- Vibration reduction: integrated AVT anti-vibration technology and a compact housing with a small grip diameter.
- Grip and visibility: rubber-coated handle and LED lighting.
- Dust extraction: an external extraction system can be connected.
Power and protection
The brushless motor is paired with restart protection and automatic switch-off to protect the battery against deep discharge. The tool uses an 18 V LXT lithium-ion battery. Its stated weight including a battery is 1.7–2.0 kg under EPTA.
