Choose countryThe BALDRTHERM HCS596WB monitors indoor temperature and humidity, with readings available on its display and in a mobile app. Measurements update every 2 seconds, while a solar panel supplements battery power.
Readings and remote monitoring
Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity let you view current, maximum and minimum readings and trend graphs in the app. Measurement history can be stored in the cloud free of charge for 2 years, allowing you to review the last 24 hours or longer periods.
- Alerts: set temperature and humidity thresholds for phone notifications, including high-temperature and freezing-risk alerts.
- Weather information: the app provides a 24-hour forecast and sunrise and sunset times; the device also displays the temperature for a selected city.
- Display: a 180° viewing angle, selectable °C or °F units and DRY, COM and WET comfort indicators.
Comfort indicators and power
DRY indicates humidity below 30%, COM indicates 30–70% humidity at 20–26 °C, and WET indicates humidity above 70%. An additional indicator covers low humidity, comfort, high humidity, overheating risk, mould growth and chills.
The solar panel supplements the power supply and can double battery life. The device requires 3 AA alkaline batteries, which are not included. The set contains the thermohygrometer and a user manual.

Does the device run on solar power alone?
The solar panel supplements power from 3 AA alkaline batteries. The batteries are not included.
