Choose countryThe Opinel Parallele No. 116 is a bread knife with a 21 cm stainless steel blade and a beech wood handle. This version pairs a brown wooden handle with a silver-coloured blade.
The blade is 1.5 mm thick and has a hardness of 56–57 HRC.
Clean the knife with a damp cloth after use, particularly after cutting acidic foods. Do not leave the wooden-handled knife in water or wash it in a dishwasher. Avoid corrosive or abrasive cleaners and stone or ceramic cutting boards, which damage and dull the blade. Do not store the knife loose in a drawer; use a knife block, magnetic holder or blade protector instead.
