Choose countryThe Humberg HM-290 is an electric heat gun with a maximum power of 2000 W for paint removal, drying and heating materials. Two fixed operating modes provide different combinations of temperature and airflow.
Two heat settings
- Mode I: 350 °C and 300 l/min for drying wood, removing old paint, defrosting, accelerating drying and shrinking heat-shrink tubing.
- Mode II: 600 °C and 500 l/min for soldering, plastic welding, bending plastic pipes, loosening seized screws and lighting a barbecue or stove.
Nozzles for different tasks
Four interchangeable nozzles are included. The conical reduction nozzle concentrates heat on a narrow area, while the glass-protection nozzle is intended for work around window frames. The surface nozzle is for drying, defrosting and heating paint or varnish before removal. The reflector nozzle directs heat around heat-shrink and protective tubing.
Controls and construction
A single control button switches the tool on and changes modes. The heat gun has a PP outer housing, a metal heater casing and a rubberised handle for grip. It requires a 230 V, 50 Hz mains supply.
