Choose countryThe Halder SIMPLEX soft-face mallet is designed for positioning and adjusting sensitive parts. Two different inserts offer a choice of impact characteristics, while the 50 mm striking faces extend beyond the 40 mm housing.
Two inserts for different impacts
- TPE-soft: the soft blue insert provides strong damping for light blows and leaves no black abrasion marks on sensitive, visible surfaces.
- Superplastic: the medium-hard insert delivers higher impact force and high wear resistance.
Construction and maintenance
The malleable cast iron housing incorporates a handle protection sleeve. The ergonomically shaped wooden handle reduces vibration, while a double coating in the grip area reduces dirt accumulation. Following the SIMPLEX design principle, all components can be replaced, allowing worn parts to be changed individually.

How do the two inserts differ?
The soft TPE-soft insert strongly damps light blows and leaves no black abrasion marks. The medium-hard Superplastic insert provides higher impact force and high wear resistance.
