Sturdy Frame and Base
The frame is made of 1 mm thick galvanized steel Omega profiles (56 mm width) assembled with M5 screws. Arch reinforcement profiles provide added rigidity, allowing the structure to withstand a snow load of up to 240 kg/m². A 10 cm high metal foundation base is included to enhance stability and prevent polycarbonate contact with the soil, with each arch anchoring 35 cm into the ground.
Insulating Polycarbonate Covering
The greenhouse is covered with 6 mm cellular polycarbonate, providing impact resistance and hail protection. With approximately 85% light transmission, it provides ample sunlight while built-in UV stabilizers shield plants from direct radiation. The polycarbonate panels are secured using screws with 40 mm plastic washers and rubber seals.
Ventilation and Access
For efficient temperature control and air circulation, the greenhouse features two roof vents fitted with automatic openers. Access is provided by a single split (two-piece) door.
