Choose countryThe RainPoint irrigation controller comes with a Wi-Fi gateway for independent control of 2 garden watering zones. Each zone supports up to 6 schedules, with normal, interval and cycle & soak modes.
Scheduling and remote control
Use the RainPoint Home app to select from 5 watering frequencies and change schedules remotely. Local weather synchronisation adjusts watering by delaying or speeding up cycles according to rain, snow and cloud-cover conditions set in the app. Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant support voice activation of watering.
- Usage history: view water usage for the last 30 days or one year.
- Notifications: receive low-battery, low-water-level and valve-malfunction alerts.
- Expansion: the gateway supports up to 4 controllers, with one soil sensor supported per controller zone.
Connection and contents
The gateway requires a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network and a USB-C power adapter. The controller uses 4 AA batteries, not included. Its IP65-rated housing is designed for dust and water resistance. Operating pressure is 0.5–8 bar; operating temperatures are 3–50 °C for the controller and 3–40 °C for the gateway.
