Choose countryThis plant tying tape tool, also known as a tapener, attaches stems, shoots and thin twigs to stakes, cords, trellises and other garden supports. It wraps tape around the plant and support, staples the ends together and cuts the used section, replacing individually tied string knots.
One-handed operation
Press the handle lightly to pick up the tape. Wrap it around the stem and support, then squeeze the handle again to fasten and cut it. The shaped handle allows one-handed use, leaving the other hand free to hold the plant in position.
- Applications: tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, grapevines, raspberries, blackberries, roses and young trees.

Includes the tool, 1 roll of red tape, 1 strip of staples in the magazine, a spare screw, cover piece, spring and cutting plate, plus the original packaging.
Leave enough slack in each loop to avoid squeezing the stem and to allow room for growth. Check the ties regularly during the season. Do not use on thick, hard branches that cannot be freely enclosed by the tape. Before use, check that suitable staples are correctly loaded in the magazine.
