Choose countryThese shoe attachments puncture the soil as you walk across the lawn. Each platform carries 13 metal spikes that enter the ground under your weight, helping loosen the top layer. The holes can help water, air and nutrients reach deeper into the soil.
Fit and operation
- Adjustable fastening: straps pass over the front and around the rear of the shoe to hold the platform beneath the sole. The platforms have a fixed size of 29 × 13 cm.
- Soil conditions: the 4 cm spikes are for sufficiently soft ground. Slightly damp soil is easiest to work on; very dry soil can resist penetration, while very wet soil may stick to the platforms.
- Assembly: fit the spikes, tighten the nuts and attach the straps before first use. An assembly spanner is included.
- No power supply: operation uses your body weight rather than a motor or electricity. Suitable for small and medium lawns, including preparation before watering or fertilising.
Safe use
Wear stable, closed work, hiking or gardening shoes with firm soles and well-supported ankles. Do not use with flip-flops, sandals or lightweight indoor footwear. Before use, check the platforms, spike tightness, strap routing and secure attachment to the shoes.
Take short, steady steps and lift your feet vertically. Avoid sudden turns, running and long strides. Use only on soft ground, never on concrete, paving, tiles, stairs or other hard or slippery surfaces. Store out of children's reach with the sharp spikes protected against accidental contact.
