Operating Modes and Controls
The unit features a 6-way control valve, a built-in pressure gauge, and a programmable timer for automated operation:
- Filter – normal filtering and cleaning of pool water
- Backwash – reverses flow to clean the filter sand
- Rinse – resettles sand bed after backwashing
- Circulate – circulates water without passing through filter media
- Waste – lowers water level or drains the pool
- Closed – shuts off all flow to the filter and pool for maintenance
Hydro Aeration Technology
Integrated Hydro Aeration Technology introduces air into the water during filtration. This process clumps fine particles together to make them easier to filter, assists in oxidizing iron and manganese, and supports overall water clarity.
