The Yongnuo YN408 is a circular LED ring light featuring adjustable color temperature from 3200 K to 5500 K. Engineered for portrait, studio, and macro photography, it is also suited for makeup artists and video bloggers, producing circular catchlights in the subject's eyes.
Light Quality and Diffusion
The panel incorporates 192 LEDs delivering a luminous flux of 2466 lm across a 110° beam angle. A color rendering index of CRI 95+ ensures faithful color accuracy for skin tones and makeup. An integrated front diffusion panel softens the beam and shields the diodes from contact damage.
Mounting and Power Versatility
Designed for studio and field use, the light mounts to lighting stands via a standard 16 mm shank receiver or a 1/4" female thread. It includes a flexible arm with a mobile device holder. Power can be supplied through the included 12 V / 2 A DC mains adapter or an NP-F series battery (available separately).
