The Newell CD-USB-C is a compact three-channel battery charger designed for Sony NP-BX1 batteries. It allows up to three cells to be charged simultaneously via independent charging channels, backed by integrated protection against overheating and overcharging.
Simultaneous 3-Battery Charging
Three independent channels enable parallel charging of NP-BX1 cells, saving preparation time for photo and video projects. Advanced controllers regulate charging currents at 4.2 V: up to 500 mA for a single battery, 250 mA each for two batteries, and 170 mA each when charging three batteries at once.
Versatile USB Power Options
Equipped with both USB-C and micro USB input ports, the charger operates from standard USB sources including wall adapters, power banks, laptops, and in-car USB sockets. A detachable USB-A to USB-C cable is included in the box.
Backlit Status Display and Portability
A dedicated backlit display shows individual status icons for each battery slot, divided into four segments (0–25%, 25–50%, 50–75%, and 75–100%). Measuring 12.4 x 5.5 x 2.4 cm and weighing 63 g, it packs easily into bags and backpacks for field shoots.
