Filmmaking Ergonomics and Optical Performance
Engineered specifically for motion picture production, the lens offers stepless aperture control for silent and smooth exposure adjustments. The focus, zoom, and iris rings feature industry-standard 0.8 pitch gears for integration with follow focus units and motors. A parafocal optical build ensures focus remains locked onto your subject while adjusting focal lengths, while focus breathing is minimized to preserve framing during focus pulls.
Mount Versatility and Build
Supplied natively with an Arri PL mount, the lens includes interchangeable Canon EF and Sony E bayonets alongside the tools required for swapping them. The Laowa OOOM covers Super 35+ formats seamlessly, including RED Monstro (6K HD), Gemini (5K HD), Helium (8K HD), and Arri Alexa Mini (4K UHD).
